Buddhist Art Favorite

One of the pieces in the Asian Art collection from the Cleveland Museum of Art is the Eleven Headed Guanyin. It is a LARGE wooden figure. Needless to say, it has a tremendous sense of presence to it. And the face is exquisite. It is one of my favorite pieces of Buddhist Art at the museum. (Odd how the image from the museum doesn’t seem to capture the face like my photos.)
